Selama ini telah banyak buku-buku fiqih yang beredar di kalangan masyarakat. Namun buku-buku fiqih yang diperuntukkan khusus bagi kaum wanita masih sangat jarang. Walaupun kita telah menemukan buku-buku yang dimaksud, namun kita masih harus lebih jeli dalam memilih buku-buku yang benar-benar lurus, memuaskan dan menenteramkan.
Alhamdulillah, atas izin Allah Ta’ala, kami Pustaka Ibnu Katsir bisa menghadirkan sebuah buku rujukan yang cukup mewakili bagi kaum wanita dalam berbagai hukum fiqih yang banyak mereka tanyakan dan mereka butuhkan selama ini. Buku tersebut berjudul Fiqhus Sunnah lin Nisaa-I wamaa Yajibu an Ta’rifahu Kullu Muslimatin minal Ahkam yang ditulis oleh Abu Malik Kamal bin as-Sayyid Salim. Buku ini telah diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dengan judul .

Abu ‘Abdillah Mushthafa bin al-‘Adawi
“Saya mendapatinya sebagai kitab yang penuh dengan manfaat dan mudah (difahami). Kitab ini menggabungkan antara kematangan isi pembahasannya, kebersihan dan keselamatan pembahasannya dari berbagai kerancuan serta mudah difahami, ini semua adalah wujud nyata dari pertolongan Allah ‘Azza wa jalla”.

Dr. Farmer taught his students by telling stories from his book “Lay Bare the Heart.” He wanted our generation to hear his stories in order to stay connected to that part of history. At times, it was hard for us to comprehend what he had endured in the fight for civil rights. Dr. Farmer had an amazing life and we were all so fortunate at UMW that he chose to share it with us. This stamp will help his legacy to carry on. His recognition was long overdue when he was awarded the Medal of Freedom by President Bill Clinton. I will never forget the experience of knowing Dr. James Farmer.
