Shahih Tafsir Ibnu Katsir Jilid 9
Tafsir Ibnu Katsir merupakan salah satu kitab tafsir yang paling banyak diterima dan tersebar di tengah ummat ini. Imam Ibnu Katsir telah menghabiskan waktu yang sangat lama untuk menyusunnya, tidak mengherankan jika penafsiran beliau sangat kaya dengan riwayat, baik hadits maupun atsar, bahkan hampir seluruh hadits periwayatan dari Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal -rahimahullah- dalam kitab Al Musnad tercantum dalam kitab tafsir ini.
[Dikatakan oleh Syaikh Sami bin Muhammad Salamah, dalam tahqiq beliau pada Kitab Tafsir Al Quranul Adzim cet. Darul Thayibah 1420 H).
Metode penyusunan yang dilakukan oleh Imam Ibnu Katsir adalah dengan cara menyebutkan ayat terlebih dahulu, kemudian menjelaskan makna secara umum, selanjutnya menafsirkannya dengan ayat, hadits, perkataan Sahabat dan tabi’in. Terkadang beliau menjelaskan seputar hukum yang berkiatan dengan ayat, dengan dukungan dalil lain dari Al Quran dan hadits serta dilengkapi dengan pendapat para Ahli Fiqh disertai dalilnya apabila masalah tersebut dikhilafkan diantara mereka, selanjutnya beliau merajihkan (memilih dan menguatkan) salah satu pendapat tersebut.
Namun demikian tidak bisa dihindari, dengan pembahasan yang panjang dan mendalam tersebut, maka mayoritas ummat yang masih awam akan merasa berat jika harus membaca kitab aslinya yang berjilid-jilid.
Oleh karena itu Syaikh Shafiurrahman Al Mubarakfuri memimpin suatu tim untuk meringkasnya, memberikan judul pada tiap-tiap pembahasannya, serta menisbatkan hadits kepada rawi yang meriwayatkannya, menampilkan hadits-hadits Shahih dan hasan, serta hadits lainnya yang telah masuk ke derajat qabul, dan menjauhkan hadits dhaif , maudhu serta membuang kisah-kisah israilliyat.
Dalam edisi terjemahan ini, terdapat kelebihan-kelebihan diantaranya :
1. Mencantumkan penomoran ayat dan surat.
2. Mentakhrij (mencocokkan) semua hadits yang tercantum didalamnya, dalam hal ini merujuk pada takhrij oleh Syaikh Hani Al Haaj baik dari sisi penomoran maupun pengesahan hadits. Apabila pengesahan berasal dari kitab Syaikh Albani -rahimahullah- , maka dicocokkan dengan penomoran dari kitab tersebut, apabila hadits-hadits tersebut pengesahannya dalam kitab al imam al muhadits Syaikh Al Albani itu tidak ada, maka dirujuk pada kitab aslinya disertai pengesahan dari ulama terkemuka.
3. Dan masih banyak kelebihan lainnya yang dimiliki cetakan ini.

They know about one thing “HVAC”, and I bet if you had us QA and test the duct leakage of their systems, I could show you how they don’t know much about proper HVAC standards either. I’ve been up in plenty of attics in the summer and the ones with radiant barrier do feel cooler. Unfortunately, attic temperature is not the primary source of inefficiency in most existing homes. As the title suggests: radiant barrier is a solution looking for a problem. If you want to reduce attic temperature, I can accomplish that for a fraction of the cost of radiant barrier by optimizing the ventilation of the space with soffit vents and using ridge venting. As far as “scientific proof”, most of their science is done in a lab under controlled conditions and/or is invalid when applied to a building assembly in the real world. I’ve looked at the evidence and it doesn’t add up if you know how to interpret it. It all sounds authoritative and plausible, but it just doesn’t work on a job site here on earth. Your manufacturer will no doubt say that I’m wrong, but what else are they going to say? They are biased because they sell the stuff. That’s how they make their living. They probably don’t even know enough to know that their product doesn’t work as promised. They aren’t necessarily lying, they just don’t know any better. Our company advises builders and contractors on how to improve the performance of their buildings using building science and proper technique.
