Sifat Shalat Nabi Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam
Rajin mengerjakan shalat lima waktu merupakan hal yang sangat terpuji. Tapi itu saja tidak cukup. Shalat yang kita lakukan bukan sekedar hanya untuk menggugurkan kewajiban kita kepada Allah. Tapi lebih dari itu, kita harus memperjuangkannya agar menjadi bernilai dan diterima di sisi Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala, sehingga pada akhirnya akan berbuah pahala.
Shalat merupakan ibadah yang sangat istimewa dan paling utama. Karenanya shalat mendapatkan perhatian begitu besar di dalam Islam. Gerakan, posisi tubuh dan bacaan di dalam shalat sejak takbiratul ihram hingga salam, harus sesuai dengan apa yang telah dicontohkan oleh Rasulullah Shalallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Begitu pentingnya masalah ini sampai-sampai Rasulullah Shalallahu Alaihi Wasaalam menjelaskannya secara rinci, bahkan lebih dari itu beliau mencontohkan gerakan demi gerakan di depan para sahabatnya. Dan beliau pun bersabda, “Shalatlah kalian sebagaimana kalian melihatku shalat” (HR. Al-Bukhari dari Malik bin al-Huwairits).
