I think you’ve seen what happens when English “creeps” in … you can look to Japanese culture/language for that. I STILL remember when you described the Japanese way to say “Broadband Internet” as “Brwode-Band-Een-ter-neta”. But then you have Taiwanese ‘reckless’ teenagers sippin’ on pearl iced tea who greet “mushi-mushi” when they answer their phone. Not really related to your post entirely, but anyways… =)

Interesting, but you’ve sorta forgotten a few incredibly potent sites. The three gorges dam, for example, shouldn’t hold up well to a blast. Hi Charles. I have done that before when I was in a house, but it is more difficult in an apartment. I post these rants more to raise the awareness of people considering coming to Panama than anything else. I never thought about having adequate water where I lived in the US. Many gringos move to Panama and are rudely awakened to the problem after buying in an area and finding that they don’t have water, Internet and maybe no land-line telephone.

Hello, I love playing this game, but so far I only have the Lite version. I think the game will look and feel better if you add a quick animation for when the pipe rotates. It will make the game feel more smooth. Also, more colors to choose from (themes, I guess) and then the game will be perfect.
I just wanted to update on Barbara, the family friend who’s having psychiatric issues. Thank heaven, she’s been taken back into inpatient care at a much better hospital than she was at before. My mother happens to be her health care proxy, so she’s managed to remain in contact with the care providers and a social worker, get her into a good situation, and watch over the care the woman is receiving. (As opposed to the first hospital, where she was merely warehoused until they sent her home in a taxi.) Thanks everyone for your prayers. I believe this woman is now in good hands.
